AR Quiz Information
Students can take an AR quiz at home whenever they finish reading a book. Unfortunately, not every book has a test. You can search for the book within Renaissance Place or use this link https://www.arbookfind.com/default.aspx to check to see if there is a quiz for a particular book.
Most books are worth .5 points if the student scores 80% or higher on the quiz.
The Accelerated Reader quizzes (AR quiz) can be found in Renaissance Place, which can be accessed through your child's Clever Portal. It is the orange box that says “Accelerated Reader” on the home page. You can search for a book in the search bar or by clicking on the reading magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner if they don't see the search bar on the screen.
If you click on the Trophy (Progress) you will see the much talked about sunflower and your child's goal. You can click on the “My Completed Work” tab to see all of the books your child has read and their scores. Once your child reaches their reading goal for the trimester, they receive a reward!
